Some USA ski resorts offer skibike lesson through their ski school. Lessons may be offered on skibobs, peg skibikes, or both.
By their very design, peg skibikes are more technical than skibobs. They require more specialized instructions from trained instructors.
Colorado
Aspen Snowmass - Peg and skibob skibikes permitted. No instruction or rentals offered.
Keystone - instruction offered only on skibobs. Peg skibikes permitted on all terrain.
Vail - instruction only offered for night tour skibobs. Skibobs and peggers permitted without license.
Breckenridge - Skibobs and peggers permitted. No lessons available
A-Basin - no instruction or rentals offered. Peg and skibobs permitted on frontside terrain only.
Copper Mountain - Only manufactured skibobs permitted. Skibob instruction available.
Steamboat - Skibob instruction and rentals available. Peg bikes permitted starting 2012 season. License required for lift or checkout ride with Ski Patrol. Peg rentals coming soon.
Winter Park Resort - instruction available for skibobs and peg skibobs. Rentals available with license.
Durango Mountain Resort - instruction available for skibobs and peggers. License required to board any lift.
Telluride - Skibob instruction and rentals available. Peg skibikes allowed. License required to board lift.
Crested Butte - Skibob lessons and rental available. Peg skibikes permitted. License required at all times. Leash required. Restricted lifts and terrain.
Beaver Creek - Skibobs and peggers permitted. No lessons or rentals available.
